Ramadhan 2017 at ICBC

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh!

Allah (swt) has given us yet another opportunity to welcome the blessed month of Ramadan in our lives, Alhamdu lillah! This will be the 10th Ramadan at ICBC. Below is a list of programs and activities planned at ICBC during the blessed month, Inshaa Allah.

Sahih International
The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey – then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful. (Qur’an 2:185)

Sahih International
O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous. (Qur’an 2:183)

Abu Huraira related that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever fasts during Ramadhan with faith and seeking his reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven. Whoever prays during the nights in Ramadhan with faith and seeking his reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven. And he who passes Lailat al-Qadr in prayer with faith and seeking his reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven (Bukhari, Muslim).

Please exercise extreme caution when driving in and out of the premises.

We have met recently with the Cedar Park Police department and requested regular patrol of our premises throughout the month of Ramadan.

As in prior years, we will hold fundraisers during Ramadan to raise funds for masjid operations and to execute the Phase II of the Master Plan (new masjid construction); and as always, we continue to count on your support of our masjid.

We need volunteers to assist with various activities in Ramadan, especially during the weekends.  If you are interested in volunteering at ICBC, please call (512) 850-4786 or email us at info@icbrushycreek.org

It is only by the Grace of Allah (swt) and the overwhelming support of the community that we have been able to continue the various programs and activities at ICBC.  The services being offered could not have been possible without your dua’a, financial support, and feedback.  We humbly request your continued support during this blessed month.  May Allah (swt) accept our Ibaadah and grant us His Paradise, Aameen!

Jazakum Allahu Khairan
