CURRICULUM
Learn how to recite the Qur’an properly with beauty and consistency. Instruction will be in English with individual attention from a qualified teacher.

INSTRUCTOR
Sr. Nasreen Nizam
Sr. Nasreen Nizam holds an Ijaaza in Asim Kufi Qiraah and has taught this course for 8 years.

OVERVIEW
The ICNA Sisters group conducts a monthly halaqa that covers various topics related to our faith (Deen) in order to improve our Eemaan and to gain the pleasure of Allah SWT. The class will study the Tafaseer of select Surahs and discuss different topics to gain a better understanding of our faith.

The program is conducted in English, in an interactive format.

OVERVIEW
A study of Fitan (Trials) that will afflict the Ummah. How to identify trials in our times. The prophetic guidance in dealing with the trials. The program is conducted in English.

This class is designed for students who wish to become fluent in reciting the Qur’an in accordance with the rules of Tajweed and their application. Students will fine-tune recitation through this interactive course and develop a new love for the Qur’an.

Sr. Maha is a Hafiz Ul Qur’an. She has certificates in Al Kaeda al noorania and Tajweed.

This program is geared towards understanding the message of the Qur’an related to everyday life matters.

An intensive class for sisters that teaches the Names of Allah
The program is conducted in Arabic.

INSTRUCTOR
Sr. Ghoufran Alkhatib
Sr. Ghoufran has Ijazah in Quran memorization, pronunciations, and Tajweed. She is a graduate of English translation from Damascus University, and Islamic studies from religious institutions. She conducts weekly lectures on the names of Allah in addition to Islamic guidance classes.

Class is targeted for non-Arabic speakers to learn how to read the Qur’an. Will also cover the meanings of the Qur’an and memorization.

INSTRUCTOR
Sr. Rehab Ibrahim
Sr. Rehab is a Hafidh al Quran. She has experience in teaching Quran to non-Arabic speakers for over eight years.

OVERVIEW
Targeted for sisters who are available only during the weekends. Class teaches Qur’an reading rules (Tajweed) and proper recitation techniques.

INSTRUCTOR: Sr. Riham Awwad
Sr. Riham has studied Tajweed for several years and teaches Quran at local masajid. She is working on earning Ijaza to teach Tajweed rules and also on Qur’an memorization.

OVERVIEW
Understanding and pondering (Tadabbur) over the Noble Qur’an. Class will also cover other relevant topics. Instruction in Arabic.

Sr. Nahed has a bachelor’s degree in Shari’a and Islamic Studies with concentration in Fiqh.
