Following an extensive general contractor search, we are pleased to share the good news that we have signed a contract on January 30, 2023 for the construction of our future Education & Activities Center, Alhamdu lillah.

The General Contractor (GC) will be responsible for hiring all subcontractors and the GC’s work will be supervised by the Construction Management firm.

The next step is for the contractor to coordinate with the building department of the City of Cedar Park, the civil engineer, and our construction management firm, and have a pre-construction meeting.  Construction work will commence thereafter.  Work is expected to start in 2-3 weeks Insha’Allah.

Please note the following:

• The construction and materials storage sites will be fenced off and secured.
• Masjid access and entrances will be clearly identified.
• For safety reasons, please do not enter the construction site.

We expect the project to be completed in about 19 months.  We will keep you updated periodically on the progress.  Please make dua’a for the successful completion of this project.
