Childrens’ Programs


Qur’an (Nazira) class for children

The Qur’an reading program aims to teach children how to read the noble Quran.  The primary goal of the program is that the students are able to read Qur’an fluently, focusing on their ability to correctly pronounce the words.  Classes are held thrice a week, at these times:

Nazira timing:

Tuesday: 5:30 PM – 6:45 PM

Thursday: 5:30 PM – 6:45 PM

Sunday: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

The tuition for the program is $50 per month per childClasses for 2017-2018 year have resumed.

Weekend Islamic School for children

The weekend Islamic School aims to teach the basic tenets of Islam to children between the ages of 5 and 15 years. The curriculum is tailored to the needs of students attending public schools and seeks to impart the basics of Aqeedah, Ibadah and Salah. It also inculcates the teachings of Hadith as applicable to the daily student life.

Classes are held every Sunday at these times

11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

We request all parents to pick up their children promptly after the Dhuhr Salaat at 2 pm.

The tuition for the program is $50 per month per child.

We have classes organized based on age group and therefore we request parents to signup at one of the appropriate links below.

Level 1: Ages 5-6 years

Level 2: Ages 7-8 years

Level 3: Ages 9-10 years

Level 4: Middle School

Level 5: High School

Girls Halaqa and Hangout

A new program for teen girls every Saturday

A comprehensive program for girls to strengthen their Aqeedah and Deen

Class held every Saturdays from 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm.

Al-Furqan Academy: Friday evening Halaqa for elementary school ages

Held every Friday from 5:30p – 8 pm, this elementary-level program that introduces students to Quran, Arabic and Islamic Studies.

2017-2018 year session will resume Friday Sept 29, 2017, Insha Allah.

Connect The Dots !

An integrated Hifz and Tafseer curriculum involving Science, Social studies, Field trips, and Art. The objective is to build an emotional connection with this beautiful Surah, increase students’ love for the Quran and The Creator, subhanahu wata’ala.  By the end of the Fall semester of 12 weeks, students will be asked to present their own reflections of the theme question: What did you learn about Al-Rahman in surah AlRahman?

Target Audience: Students in Grade 1 and above
Class held every Saturday from 11 AM to 2 PM
